A Fully licensed and accredited Parent Led Preschool
Our preschool classroom provides a place where your child can learn social skills – how to solve problems, be respectful to others, and compromise – and where they can play with friends, explore, and develop their confidence and a sense of self.
Your child will realize that they can do things for themselves – whether it's getting their own drink or deciding how spend their free choice time – and they will be introduced to language, letters, numbers, science, dance, art, music and more, through activities and play.
Our goal for each child is to balance their intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and aesthetic growth.
Elyse Tebon (Ms. Elyse) – Preschool Teacher
Elyse Tebon (Miss Elyse) moved to Stoughton in 2001. She has two children and has been involved with their education from preschool to high-school, including homeschooling. She organized various learning groups throughout her children’s homeschool years, and most recently she was a reading tutor for students of various ages in the greater Stoughton area.
Jill Kopetsky (Ms. Jill) – Prechool Classroom Assistant
Ms. Jill has been a nanny for the same Pumpkin Patch family since 2011, and volunteered as a field trip chaperone and worked as classroom sub for the school in 2016. Ms. Jill has always enjoyed working with children and she is loving being part of the PPP family! Jill is from the Fort Atkinson, WI area. In her free time she loves to be outside with friends and family.
We welcome three year olds who are toilet trained and can take care of basic needs such as washing hands, eating without assistance, and going to the bathroom with limited assistance. Additionally, children should be able to focus on one task for 20-30 minutes, be ready to participate in group activities with limited distraction, demonstrate awareness of others, and be able to listen and follow classroom instructions and safety rules.

A co-operative school depends on its community of parents. Parents serve on our Board of Directors, fund-raise for the school, help maintain the school and grounds, provide and restock supplies, clean, paint, and more. Every family is asked to contribute their talents and their unique perspective to our children and our school.
These are the specific requirements for families who have a child enrolled in Preschool:
Families must provide snacks for the class throughout the school year.
As a parent cooperative we couldn’t exist without your support. Families enrolled in preschool are required to fill volunteer positions. Volunteer opportunities will be offered throughout the school year and publicized via email and the school newsletter. Please see the Parent Handbook for more information.
To ensure the funding necessary to support our budget and keep our wrap-around care rates reasonable, fundraising events are held throughout the year. Each participating family is expected to raise a minimum of $100 profit through fundraising or pay the difference. Families will be notified of their fundraising status each semester. If you wish to opt out of fundraising you are welcome to make a $100 tax-deductible donation to our school.
